Boards Blades Battle 2(009)
As per above, the 2nd Boards Blades Battle will take place on the 25 October 2009. The competition will start by 10.30 am.
Registration forms can be collected from Lust SkateStore, Uneek Skateshop, Maly (I Love KB Crew) and/or myself (surkrew@gmail.com). Registration forms, along with a registration fee of $5.00, must be submitted latest by 10.30 am on the competition day (25/10/09).
A short briefing on the competition format will be held prior to the start of the competition. For more information, contact Bahrom (Lust SS) and Chom (Uneek Skateshop).
Just for your information, the organisers (Uneek Skateshop and Lust SS) are in the process of building/making extra obstacles to be used for the competition.

Singapore Extreme Championship 2009
As you all know, we (Samsul and myself) as well as our sponsor, Bahrom of RPS went to Singapore from the 28th to 31st August 2009 to join the inaugral Singapore Extreme Championship 2009 at the new East Coast Park skatepark.
We arrived SG on Friday and went straight to tge skatepark for registration and practice. 21 competitors registered for the competition from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Brunei. We were so excited to skate the new park! The park was really amazing!!
After the practice and hotel check in, we went to Orchard road with our SG friend, Jufri.
The event was officiated by Singapore's PM.
Saturday was the prelims. We were divided into 4 groups of 2 heats. Top 10 skaters were selected for the finals.
I don't really know the exact results (heck, I didn't even know I made it to the finals until Jason of The Brunei Times called me on Saturday night interviewing me for the paper).
But I do know Fazuly (SG) got 1st, Jatt (SG) got 2nd and Sarawuth Boonnim (TH) got 3rd. Those that made it to the finals were another 2 thai skaters, Syafiq (SG), Fariq (MY) 4th place, Syam (MY) 8th place and myself (at 10th place). Samsul was only a few points behind me at 11th.
Looking back at his video, he actually dislocated his right elbow when he attempted true spin top soyale. Will get the video here if Bahrum ever upload that clip.
Sunday was supposedly the final. But it rained the whole day, so the organizers had to cancel the event and used the prelims result.

JP Ramp Session
As I've mentioned before, I'm actually working on a short edit. The plan was to publish the video here within this week, but when I came across the video edit competition organised by Bala, I've decided not to publish the video until after the dateline (31/7/09) as I will be submitting the video for the competition. And so, I've made this short edit instead. Enjoy the vid!

Skate session at Indoor Stadium TODAY (22/7/08) at 2pm
There will be a skate session later today at around 2pm. Meeting point is the Indoor stadium fountain area (the first spot during the last skate comp). Come one, come all. Spread the words and join in the fun! See you all later! :D
